What is DNBC?

Dark Nebula Brewing Company was created to be a welcoming place centered around great beer, great food, and shared experiences. The name “Dark Nebula” is inspired by the quieter, mysterious parts of space, a nod to creativity, curiosity, and the unexpected. That inspiration carries into our brewing style, where we focus on thoughtfully crafted beers that are approachable, interesting, and meant to be enjoyed together.

While craft beer is at the heart of what we do, Dark Nebula is about more than what is in the glass. We wanted to create a place where friends can gather, families can spend time together, and visitors can feel right at home. Whether you are joining us for a pint, a meal, or simply good company, our goal is to create an experience that keeps people coming back.

What is a Dark Nebula?

A dark nebula is a dense interstellar cloud of gas and dust that absorbs and scatters visible light, making it appear black.

Meet the Founder and Brewmaster,
Justin Vale

Justin’s journey in the beer industry began after quitting the corporate grind in 2016 to follow his passion for craft beer and joined on as Sales Manager for a large brewery, creating a distribution network throughout the entire state of Connecticut, and expanded into multiple states. Since then, he has immersed himself in nearly every aspect of the craft. From sales and taproom/customer engagement to learning and mastering the art of brewing, Justin’s vast experience and deep knowledge have shaped him into a versatile and passionate industry professional.

After moving to New Hampshire in 2018, Justin became part of a the NH craft beer scene, working for multiple breweries and honing his skills along the way. With a love for innovation and a commitment to quality, he’s now embarking on his most exciting venture yet: bringing his vision to life with Dark Nebula Brewing Company.

Located in the heart of the Lakes Region, Dark Nebula Brewing Company (DNBC) is more than just a dream; it’s a culmination of Justin’s years of hard work, creativity, and dedication to the craft. With “A Cosmic Adventure in Every Glass,” Justin has big plans for the brewery, from unique craft beverage offerings to engaging with the local community in meaningful ways.

Justin Vale

Justin is the founder, head brewer, and visionary behind Dark Nebula Brewing Company. Since founding the brewery in 2024, he has been the driving force behind every aspect of its creation, from developing distinctive, expertly crafted beers to designing the overall experience and long-term vision for DNBC. A true master of his craft, Justin combines creativity, passion, and dedication to push the boundaries of what a brewery can be. He is excited to share the beers, experiences, and ideas he has been building and looks forward to taking guests on a cosmic adventure with every pint.

Emily Vale

Emily plays a key creative and marketing role behind the scenes at Dark Nebula Brewing Company. From designing the logos, can labels, and artwork found throughout the taproom to building the company website and managing social media, photography, designing the merchandise, and taproom décor, she helps shape the brewery’s brand and customer experience. Her creativity and attention to detail bring Dark Nebula’s visual identity to life, transforming her husband's cosmic vision into a welcoming and memorable destination for the community.

Charisma

Charisma is our Taproom Manager and one of the friendly faces you'll find behind the bar at Dark Nebula. As a local, many guests may already recognize her from her time at the brewery where Justin previously brewed. Whether she's catching up with familiar faces or welcoming first-time visitors, Charisma has a natural way of creating the warm, inviting atmosphere that makes Dark Nebula a great place to relax, connect, and enjoy good food and great drinks.
